Las Cuevas de Nerja (www.cuevadenerja.es) are a number of caves formed millions of years ago that develop into a system 5 km long called Nerja Caves, one of the major tourist attractions in Spain. These caves and rooms were discovered in 1959 by a group of friends who were apparently hunting for bats.

El Balcon de Europa. It's a viewpoint located on a rocky headland, formerly the fortress that defended Nerja from the pirate’s attacks. Today is a pedestrian zone, the meeting point of the city and its main attraction, here you will find bars and cafeterias open until late.

The aqueduct. Located in the Barranco de la Coladilla, a gorge in between the cliffs of Maro, the structure has the shape of an eagle, with several arches sustaining it. It was built in the nineteenth century to provide water to a sugar cane factory and today provides water to Nerja.
