What to see in Marbella

What to see and do in Marbella

El Casco Antiguo. It 's the old town in the center of Marbella, and includes the ancient Arab walls and the two historic districts, the Barrio Alto and the barrio Nuevo. Inside this maze of narrow streets, you cannot miss a stroll in the Plaza de los Naranjos, example of Renaissance architecture. As its name implies, the square is full of orange trees, which give the distinctive color to the square throughout most of the year.
Still in the old town you will see the Consistorial House, built by the Catholic Monarchs, the Corregidor House, with its Gothic and Mudejar facade, the Hermita de Santiago, the oldest temple of the city.

Parque Alameda. Famous for its benches covered with colored tiles. This small park connects the old town with the sea, giving way to the Avenida del Mar; where you will cross a wide promenade dotted with statues created by Salvador Dali.

Nikki Beach. This beach complex, part of a worldwide chain, is the most famous and expensive beach facility in Marbella. With its canopy beds, fashion dj’s and jet set customers, this place represents the most exaggerated and money packed side of Marbella.
