Grazalema is a small white village located in the north east of the province of Cadiz. This is a mountain area with a specific micro climate that makes it one of the most humid locations throughout the province, due to the consistent rainfall.

The town is part of the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park, declared a Unesco Biosphere Reserve. The highest peak is El Torreon, with the Guadalete river crossing the below valley.
As in the rest of Spain, you can admire the remains of the Roman and Moorish dominations, including several buildings and fountains. Grazalema’s name is linked to the Arab world, the town was in fact named Gran Zulema by the Moors, a name that was turned into Grazalema at the time of the Catholic Reconquest.

The town displays typical Andalusian features, with white houses and narrow streets ending into beautiful squares.
Grazalema today is a tourist destination that attracts fans of adventure and outdoor activities.
