The Spring Feria de El Colorado. It’s a festival held in the area of El Colorado in the first week of June, with horse parades and local dishes.

La Virgen del Carmen. The festivity in honor of the fishermen’s patron Virgin is celebrated on July the 16th with a procession at sea, displaying colorful boats carrying the image of the Virgen del Carmen.

Feria de Conil. Conil’s main festival, is held usually on the second week of September, with fanfairs, food stalls and events.

Fiesta de Nuestra Señora de las Virtudes. Held on the 8th of September, this festivity honors the patron saint of Conil, and is part of the Feria’s celebrations.



Conil is partly still a fishing village, where tuna fish has always been the most important product, a fact that is clearly reflected in the local cuisine.
Other local dishes include soups and stews.
