The Pilgrimage of the Virgen del Rosario del Campo
, a procession in honor of the patron of Casares, takes place in the second weekend of May. The procession carries the image of the Virgin to the Guadiaro river, in the below valley.

La Verbena de San Juan. It is celebrated in late June, on the night of the 23rd to welcome the arrival of Summer. A party on the beach of Marina Casares. Music, concerts and entertainment together with the traditional bonfires.

La Feria de Casares. Casares main festival is held on the first weekend of August, with celebrations of various kinds, music, food and entertainment until late at night.



Casares encloses traditions of mountain and sea. These goes from poor man's dish, rich in calories, like the typical puchero andaluz (a soup made with meat, chick peas and vegetables), to the boquerones (fried anchovies) and sardines, typical fishes of the Malaga coast.
